Little late but better than not.

During the pandemic lockdown. I didn't have a blog. If I had, I would have posted this. Many folks I knew were not getting access to EDD or their stimulus checks. Snafus this or that. It was a problem for many. So bought an 800# and set up a free recorded message for the best way to get immediate help without falling for online scams. What I set up was free, and I still get thanks to this day. I feel awkward in sending back your welcomes. As an American, it's my duty to share any help I can to fellow Americans or anybody for that matter. We only have one planet.

So here is the same info I had on my 800# if we get sick or lockdowns again, God forbid. To apply for unemployment benefits, and still not receive them.  The frustration is deep when you need help. Don't lose hope or give up, the answer is very easy.

Go to Google and write "my assembly person and your zip code". Call them up and speak to his or her staff. You will need to sign their consent form. After you send it in by email, maybe a week later you receive your EDD benefits or a call from a supervisor if your application needed missing items. They handle problems related to the State.

If you did not receive your federal stimulus checks. First, make sure you tell your assembly person about the missing federal stimulus check. Reason they work closely with congressmen or women. So they have a form that cuts through red tape. Email the form to your congressperson and the staff that your assembly person sent you. You will be happy about a week or two later. You will receive a call from the IRS apologizing for not getting you a check, and they fix, right away.

First time, wow with white rice, it's pretty good.
