Like to post reviews of local restaurants in Los Angeles. Many did not survive the lockdowns and pandemic. Hope they add to your list of grub joints
This place was the first Mexican food restaurant Pops took me long ago. Its at olvera street. Across from Union station. While ago lunch time was whose who of judges and million dollar lawyers.
Simpla fare you stand in line to order. Best is the two carnitas taco, rice & beans combo. The beans and rice you will never find anywhere except there. I tried and never found a place closer to home.
It's a historic location, and parking across the street is about 10.00 an hour. Enjoy, it's a real unique treat.
