4ocean shared a post on Instagram: "A sea of tires. This first photo was taken by @projectbaseline off coast of Fort Lauderdale, and is known as the Osborne Reef. In the 1970’s over 2 million tires were dumped in the ocean in an attempt to create the world’s longest artificial reef. Ultimately, the well-intentioned project failed. And now 4ocean is stepping in to clean them up! This operation is an uphill battle. While there's been much cleanup progress since the first photo was captured, there's still over 500,000 tires left sitting at the bottom of the ocean. We definitely have a lot of work to do, and as a small team, we need your help! Visit the link in our bio to learn how you can show your support.". Follow their account to see 2369 posts.
